This album is a labor of love, over 10 years of songwriting distilled into a select group of songs that center on the theme of CONNECTION.
In addition to my career as a composer, producer, arranger and vocal coach, I have the good fortune of making music with my twin brother Jeff (composer, lyricist, guitar and vocals) and our friend since middle school Henry Brent (composer, lyricist, drums & percussion). The three of us started writing songs together many years ago. These 11 tunes represent a joyful sampling, and we hope that you have as much fun listening as we did creating them!
During these challenging times, we wanted to reinforce the notion that CONNECTION remains, and in some ways is stronger than ever before.

Chris Toland
Chris has been working in the music industry for over 25 years as a composer, arranger, producer, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and teacher. Originally established in New York City, Chris has worked with some of the biggest names in the business. He was one of the first in the studio with Mariah Carey, and survived sessions with Courtney Love. His contributions include arranging, production and touring with artists Chaka Khan, Carly Simon, Joan Baez, Hall and Oates and others. Deep passion and enthusiasm for his work has created in him a very flexible, versatile artist with the ability to compose and perform in a wide range of musical styles from haunting tribal themes to heavy metal biker riffs to contemporary pop, and choral and orchestral melodies. His clients include National Geographic, Discovery Channel, The New York Times, Animal Planet, ABC, NBC, Fox TV, The Learning Channel, Discovery Health, and The Travel Channel. Chris has scored several independent film productions one of which is a Sundance Nominated film.
